Are You Seeing Africa from the Wrong Side? Hear What Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Has to Say

Africa has undergone several transformations and new things are happening fast, but we keep looking at the dark, polluted, corrupt and problematic Africa. The good and bad part is that foreigners are beginning to see the things we are not seeing. Their coming is making Nigeria better and also making them richer at our own expense.

Like Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said in this video, the problem is not over, but the trend is downward. Until we begin to see Africa as she really is, focusing on the potentials and promising developments, we may not enjoy what Africa has to offer us as Africans.

Personally, one thing that amazes me is the will of individual persons in Africa. In Nigeria, regardless of government support individuals are starting and running enterprises. Give them a few years, and you will be amazed at the next big things.

Seeing eyes are few, but looking eyes are many.
