They have been waiting;
Weary and stretched beyond limit,
yet they must wait.
Unlike the children of Israel,
they lack the daily supply of manna.
Yet there is a strong resolve
to still hang on a little.
“Perhaps change is just some steps away,”
“Maybe he will pay us a visit tomorrow”
They say to their selves
– Wait they must
BUT
How long do they have to wait?
How far with their worn out hope take them?
Could it be they are waiting for Godot?
